sMASHwalk Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how sMASHwalk ("we", "us", or "the app") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the sMASHwalk mobile application.

Information we collect

• Account information: an account identifier and, when provided by the sign-in provider, an email address and display name supplied through Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple. Google Sign-In may also provide a profile photo. Apple may provide a private relay email address if you choose to hide your email.
• Profile information: the username and profile gender selection you choose in the app.
• Game information: active-session timing, drink deadlines and actions, cup balance, walking-game duration, personal records, and leaderboard results.
• Social features: Friend Help requests, responses, blocks, and the usernames involved.
• Notifications: notification preferences, language, and push-notification token.
• Advertising information: Google Mobile Ads may process device identifiers, approximate location derived from an IP address, ad interactions, diagnostics, and related information in accordance with Google's policies and the consent choices available to you.

sMASHwalk does not request GPS location, contacts, camera, microphone, or physical-activity sensor access.

How we use information

We use this information to authenticate users, operate and synchronize the game, display records and leaderboards, provide Friend Help and notifications, prevent abuse, show and measure advertising, troubleshoot problems, secure the service, and comply with legal obligations.

Information visible to other users

Your chosen username, profile photo when available, and walking record may appear on the Top Walkers leaderboard. Friend Help participants can see each other's usernames and request status.

Service providers

We use service providers that process information on our behalf, including Google Firebase for authentication, database, cloud functions, storage, and messaging; Google and Apple as sign-in providers; Expo for push-notification delivery; and Google AdMob for advertising. Their processing is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Retention and security

We retain account and game information while your account is active and as needed to operate and secure the service. We use access controls and encrypted network connections. Backup copies may remain for a limited period for security and disaster recovery.

Account and data deletion

You can permanently delete your account and associated data in the app under Settings → Delete Account. You can also submit a deletion request through our account deletion page. Deletion removes the account, profile, game records, notification data, leaderboard data, and Friend Help data, subject to limited legal or security retention requirements.

Children

sMASHwalk is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

sMASHwalk is a casual game and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or personalized health recommendations. Users should drink responsibly and follow professional health guidance appropriate for them.
